01What is Loosie, in one sentence?+
The rugby app for grassroots clubs: draw your lineouts and strike moves, run the season, pick the squad, print matchday graphics that look professionally made, and keep the club's money straight, all in your club's colours.
02Is it actually free?+
During beta, yes. Honestly free. Every feature, every template pack, unlimited exports, no watermark, no card required. When pricing eventually arrives, beta clubs will hear about it from us first, not from a paywall.
03What can the tactics board do?+
Lineouts and strike moves, drawn in steps on a proper pitch: drag the pod, set the jumper, sketch the running lines, add static or simulated defence. Press play and the move animates from set-up to strike; save it as a video for the team group chat. Every call is saved to your club, not a laptop.
04Can I build plays on my phone?+
Viewing, yes. The playbook is readable on any phone, matchday-ready. Building, no: drawing a call needs precision a thumb can't give, so the designer lives on the desktop site. Draw it on Tuesday at a computer, pull it up from your pocket on Saturday.
05What graphics does it make?+
The full matchday set: fixture announcements, the starting XV, full-time score cards, player of the match, plus story-format versions for the lineup and player features. Result cards unlock once a fixture is marked completed, so nobody posts a score card at half time.
06Will everything really be in our colours?+
Yes, and automatically. Set the badge and colours once and every card, every pack, the tactics board's players, the whole app wears them from then on. If your kit clashes with the opposition's, the board lets you override colours per call.
07We run a sevens side too.+
Good. Sevens tournaments run as their own mini-seasons: a squad, a day of games, and squad cards built for the short format. Clubs that don't play sevens can switch the whole tab off.
08What does the treasurer get?+
A ledger for the club's money and a home for sponsors. Sponsor logos ride along on the graphics you print, which tends to keep sponsors happy at renewal time.
09Who owns our club's data?+
Your club does. Your squad, your fixtures, your playbook, your graphics: export and post them anywhere, no watermark, no lock-in. We're a tool, not a landlord.
