Sevens runs on a different rhythm: a 12-player squad, multiple matches in a day, tournaments rather than fixtures. Most matchday graphics tools are built around a 15-a-side team sheet and don't translate cleanly.
A sevens squad card needs to hold a full circuit roster, not a starting XV plus reserves. It needs to work across a tournament day (pool games, cup or bowl brackets, sometimes three or four results before lunch) without needing a brand-new graphic built from scratch for every single match.
Set the squad once for the tournament, and generate a card per fixture as results come in: pool game one, pool game two, quarter-final, and so on, all pulling the same house style and squad list. The layout adjusts automatically for the 12-player roster instead of leaving nine empty slots on a 15-a-side template.
If your club runs a sevens side alongside XVs, it's worth setting the sevens roster up as its own profile: same badge and colours, different squad, so neither format is fighting the other's layout.
